Abstract

There is growing market for cosmetics, which is one of major indication of Botulin toxin, that is expected to
grow at CAGR of 8%. The market size was about USD 4.85 billion in 2019. Botulinum toxin is a produced
by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum which prevents the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
Botulin toxin has pan indications in neurology, musculoskeletal disorders low back pain, oncology and in
cosmetology. The toxin has reasonable side effect profile. Botulin Toxin causes muscle weakness, fatigue,
flu-like symptoms, dry mouth, dizziness and skin rash can be reported.
